The Grass Isn't Greener! -
(Film on Drugs by West Kent YMCA & The Complete Works)

This video was made and edited entirely BY young people - FOR young people.  The young residents raised £5000 to make the video and were able to achieve a BTEC award for their work in peer mentoring during this project...
If you would like a copy of the full DVD with extra facts, figures and some questions to reflect on just let us know and we can post you a copy.  Our thanks to: Kent Youth for help with the BTEC in peer mentoring, the Prince's Trust for a £5k grant; the Complete Works who provided the young people with video equipment, training and use of their professonal edit suite in London - but most of all thank you to the staff who encouraged and the residents who made this thought provoking film...  We know it has already saved lives and enabled young people, youth workers, support workers, teachers and parents to start a conversation about drugs, addiction, peer pressure.....
