Some Friends are also volunteer fundraisers, or help arrange events - for publicity and/or fund-raising.  Some Friends are also willing to support us by -

  • personal donations of money [using GiftAid if you pay income tax or Capital Gains Tax] or
  • asking us to sell goods on your behalf [as your 'agent'] so you can donate & GiftAid the funds raised by selling your goods for you

Other Friends of West Kent YMCA have put in place -

  • a standing order and/or
  • a legacy to sustain and support our vital work [please ask us for details]

Friends of West Kent YMCA are also kept up to date with some news [no more than you want] of youth achievements; fresh challenges and projects and events; and invited to visit our projects.

We launched Friends of West Kent YMCA in April with a VIP event [slides below] opened by Greg Clark MP
Over 50 people signed up to be be Friends that day - impressed by meeting our youth mentors, six apprentices and project managers

- the Rt Revd James Langstaff - Bishop of Rochester
- Sir Jonathan Evans, KCB - head of MI5 until the week before - shown here cutting our SAY YES 2 YOUTH cake with apprentices Simon & Emily

Our Friends have been asked to help us
